My review:
We love homemade cherry pie, but cherries are a pain to pit by hand. This little gadget makes it so much easier. Don't know why I waited so long to own one of these.  It's a simple process - a handful of cherries into the feeding tray, press the plunger down, watch the next cherry drop in, and repeat. You do have to check to make sure all the pits are removed, but it misses only the occasional pit. Not a big deal. I had worried that they would get all squashed and smashed, but the cherries stay nice and round. It easily pushes the pits out with no wastage of cherry flesh. It makes a normally tedious and time consuming job relatively fun, quick, and easy. I am thinking this would work pretty good for olives too, but not sure as of right now. All in all, it works great and does exactly what I needed it to do. It takes way longer to wash the cherries, and take off their stems, than it takes to remove the pits with the Kitchen Gizmo.
