Tips & Care:

 Prior to using your scale for the first time, remove the plastic insulation strips from the battery compartment. Place scale on a flat level surface, press the ON key to turn on the scale, wait until ‘0.0’ (zero) is displayed, place the included tray on the weighing platform, you are ready to weigh. Place the object(s) on the included tray; wait a few seconds for the display to stabilize before taking a weight reading. Functions: Tare key, to subtract the weight of an empty tray, container or box for net weight determination. Mode key, which allows you to change the measurement unit from grams to ounces to pennyweight to troy ounces – all in one measure!

Nice looking lightweight scale.The design is sleek and compact, which makes for easy storage. This product is very easy to work with and maintain. The back lighting on the scale is nice and bright and is very easy to read.This scale gives you a clear digital weight calculation in seconds. My Dad sells jewelry, coins and other little odds and ends on Ebay its perfect for what he needs. I appreciate that the company included batteries with the scale, many companies don't provide their customers with that courtesy so I thought that was very nice of them. As far as batteries go any time you have a digital scale of any kind, its very important to make sure that your batteries are full as dying batteries kill accuracy immensely.Overall my Dad seems to like it and as of yet he hasn't run into any problems with it. For what you are getting I think the price is worth it.
