My review:
I use gel pens in many ways, depends on what project I'm doing. I mainly have been using this gel pen set for coloring in adult coloring books and scrap booking, and they have not disappointed. This gel pen set has literally every color that you need. I found the color selection to be more than adequate for my needs. The pens write great and are light weight in your hand. There were some ink flow issues with some of the pastel pens, but from my experience that seems to be the normal with most gel pens, regardless of brand. For the most part, the ink in these pens flows very smoothly. The lids come off and go back on easily and they dry very fast. I didn't have any issues with smearing or any problems with ink leaking through the pages of coloring books. I'm very happy a white pen was included in this set, all of my other gel pen sets never had one included. I'm enjoying experimenting with it, it's great for adding highlights to art or for use as a correction pen for cleaning up the edges of an illustration. One slight flaw about this gel pen set is the plastic container they come in. It's kind of flimsy and after a few times of removing the pens from it started to crack. All in all, this is a nice set of 48 gel pens from Chalko. There is a good amount of different color pens and this set would easily appeal to any age group.
