You can connect this system to any mp3 player, IPOD, cd player or listen to the FM tuner that is built in These speakers are 100% waterproof. You can dump it in a pot of water and it will still work. Try that with your current speakers. It should not take you more than 15 minutes to have this system up and running.

My review:

I ordered this item for my Dad. He has a motorcycle which does not have a radio on it. 

The sound is way better than I expected.

Of course you will not get booming bass but it is a nice full sound that can easily be heard over a loud exhaust.

I only gave 4 stars because the FM radio is not the best, it can be a bit staticky at times. But the Aux function is perfect.

The LCD display is easily viewed in direct sunlight and the controls are user friendly.

The install was an easy process. The speakers mounted perfectly and the power connection was simple to hook up.

 The instructions are easy to read and are understandable.

All in all, time will tell if it is durable but for under $50, I have to say 

it is a pretty nice sound system. Not perfect but actually fairly decent.
